Atty. Amador Z. Tolentino Jr. received his undergraduate degree of BS Philosophy and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Atty. Tolentino is also a founding partner at a full-service law firm, Tolentino Corvera Macasaet & Reig Law Firm, and is a Lecturer at Philippine Law School, handling the subjects of Property Law, Administrative Law, and Special Proceedings.
Our lecturer is a dedicated public servant of the government for almost 2 decades now. He started his career in the government as a Legal Officer in the Presidential commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) after graduating from the Ateneo Law School. Then he went to engage in private practice which focused on titling and land registration procedures. Thus, it was also no accident that when he was invited to join the government to head the LRA’s legal division at a very young age. Today he is the incumbent Deputy Administrator with a rank of Career Executive Service Officer II (CESO II), and for a while he sat as OIC-Administrator of that agency. He earned his AB Political Science Degree from UST and his Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, both as university scholar. Further honing his legal skills and knowledge, he taught law and, as we speak, he is teaching Land Titles and Deeds at the Ateneo Law School, DLSU, UST, New Era University, and at the same time a part time Bar Reviewer and MCLE Lecturer in various law schools in Manila and outside of Manila. Atty. Robert Nomar V Leyretana started his career in LRA as Chief of the Law Division in 2003, and went up the bureaucratic ladder until his present position as Deputy Administrator. Recognizing his competence in public governance, he was conferred by the Office of the President with the rank of CESO II. Presently, he is also an MCLE Lecturer, and at the same a law professor. He is a most sought-after lecturer in the field of land titling locally and would sometimes be invited to speak in some international fora as well.
Dean Gemy Lito L Festin is the former President of the Philippine Association of Law Schools and is the Dean of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Law since 2011. Dean Festin is also an Author, a special Lecturer in Evidence and Special Proceedings & Criminal Law, an MCLE Lecturer, a practicing Lawyer, and a Professor of Law. He is also a Former President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Manila Chapter, and the Pioneering President of the Law Faculty Association San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Cha-vez was the former Associate Dean of San Sebastian College of Law, was the former Consultant of Quezon City Admin Management Office & City Legal Attorney's Office and was the former Group Supervisor of the Tax Fraud Division of the BIR. Justice Magdangal M de Leon is a remedial law professor and bar reviewer at the Ateneo Law School, UST, La Salle and six other law schools and review centers. He is the Chairperson of the Philippine Judicial Academy Remedial Law Department as well as the PHILJA Committee on the new Benchbook for Philippine Trial Courts. Also, he was a member of the Supreme Court Sub-Committee on the Revision of the Rules on Civil Procedure (2013) and Special Committee for Continuous Trial of Criminal Cases (2017). More recently, he was a member of the Supreme Court Sub-Committee on the Amendments to the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure (2019), and the Technical Working Group for Judicial Forms, a project of the Supreme Court and the U P Law Center (2019). Presently, he is a member of the new Supreme Court Sub-Committees to revise the rest of the Rules of Civil Procedure as well as the Rules of Special Proceedings. In the international scene, he was a member of the International Consultants Group, Rules and Principles of Transnational Civil Procedure, sponsored by the American Law Institute. An active Mandatory Continuing Legal Education lecturer, he has travelled to San Francisco and Los Angeles, California for that purpose. He was a bar examiner for Labor Law in 2016 and Remedial Law in 2009, and is the author of three law books, Appellate Remedies, Special Proceedings, Essentials for Bench and Bar, and Remedial Law Reviewer-Primer. Among other distinctions, he is a recipient of the 2019 and 2017 Justice Jose Colayco Professorial Chair for Remedial Law; 2016 Metrobank Foundation Professorial Chair for Remedial Law; 2015 Rotary Club of Makati Paseo de Roxas Award for exemplary government service; 2011 and 2007 Court of Appeals Awards of Recognition for outstanding perfomance; 2008 University of the Philippines Centennial Distinguished Alumnus Award for championing justice and the judiciary; 2008 Uhlirang Ama Award for Law and Judiciary; and 2007 Outstanding Jurist Award from the Consumers Union of the Philippines. Salvador Panga, Jr. is the Vice-President of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center. He received his law degree from the University of the Philippines in 1989 and his LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001. In late 2001, he completed an internship in international commercial arbitration in Paris at the ICC International Court of Arbitration. In 2004, he received a two-year appointment as Postgraduate Fellow in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at the Dispute Resolution Institute of the Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Panga has been in law practice for twenty-five years, fifteen of which as a partner in a law firm specializing in construction and commercial ADR.
Judge Gener M. Gito earned his Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College, his Master of Laws in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and his Doctor of Civil Laws at the University of Santo Tomas where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
His teaching background includes being an MCLE Lecturer, a Bar Reviewer, a Professional Lecturer, an Assistant Professor, and being a Professional Lecturer. At present, Judge Gito is the Presiding Judge at Branch 206, Muntinlupa City. Judge Theresa S. Dizon is an author of several best-selling books on the subject of Legal Profession and Basic Legal Ethics. Her career in the Supreme Court involves being the Human Resource Administrator Assistant, and was formerly the Court Attorney IV in the Office of the Bar Confidant at the Supreme Court. At present, she is a part-time Law Professor, a MCLE Lecturer, and is the Presiding Judge in Metropolitan Trial Court in Pasig City.
Atty. Judy A Lardisabal is San Sebastian College of Law alumna who graduated valedictorian of her class in 2008 and was ranked no.1 in the 2008 Bar Examinations. Arthur F. Tantuan is a public procurement practicing lawyer based in Manila, Philippines with over 17 years of experience in public procurement, contract management, and dispute resolution. He finished his pre-law in Political Science at UST. He obtained law degree from San Beda University in the Philippines in 1994 where he was a Dean’s Lister and Vice President of the Law Student Council. He is currently a Senior Procurement Consultant for a United Nations financial institution, the IFAD. He has been with IFAD since July 2017. He is tasked to provide procurement technical support and supervision to IFAD-financed projects in the Philippines and other countries in the Asia Pacific Region. He had the opportunity to provide similar work to IFAD-financed projects in Myanmar, India and South Pacific Countries. He also had opportunities to apply procurement procedures and guidelines of the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and Japan International Cooperation Agency in his consulting work for development projects implemented in the Philippines. He has previously given procurement lectures before lawyers of the OGCC, PAGCOR, Development Bank of the Philippines, PCSO, Land Bank of the Philippines and the Department of Agrarian Reform.
